Blue Mountains
A few weeks ago I went to the Blue Mountains for a few days, it was the first time I'd been up there in years. It's amazing how buildings can change and yet the green of the environment remains as vibrant as I remember it from my childhood. The air was so clear and fresh, and just what I needed to clear my head

Sheesh
This is my favourite look from the Ashish show from London Fashion Week,
the daytime sequins on a pyjama like suit,
the big black boots,
and the side plait dyed pink,

Favouritest Ever
I'm not a huge fan of putting photo's of myself on the internet, (just so you know) but I thought this was kind of necessary. I bought this jacket a month or two ago and I pretty much haven't taken it off, no really, I've been like a four year old who just received sparkly ballet shoes for her birthday, who insists on wearing them rain or shine, night or day...
yes, so, thought a picture may explain my obsessive behaviour,
on second thoughts maybe it doesn't,
but I still think it's pretty...

Medieval Alien Hodge Podge
Quite want to steal Charlottes feathered bowler hat
And maybe Sean's glasses...
State of Mind
If I was in New York right now, I would go and have late lunch at Ruby's on Mulberry st. then wander down to the Charlotte Ronson shop for a look at the new season. I'd also make sure to check out Sophomore and Opening Ceremony.
Then to MOMA to see the Tim Burton exhibition, and lose my mind a little bit.
Then probably spend the rest of the afternoon just walking around Prince and Spring St. people watching and just generally revelling in the city

Opening Ceremony
Man I love Opening Ceremony, their spring 2010 clothes look completely rad, but mostly for bringing together so many of my favourite creative people.
This film alone involves Jason Schwartzman working with Kirstin Dunst for the first time since 'Marie Antoinette', directed by Gia Coppola, with cameo's from Tennessee Thomas, and other party people. With a sound track supplied by Coconut Records Jason's band, and Solobob, Robert Schwartzman's musical side project away from Rooney.
So much Coppola Love

Americana Blues
This is one of my favourite looks from Charlotte Ronson's new collection, it looks so comfortable. When asked about her inspiration, she said "Americana, Lauren Hutton, Brooke Shields."
Last time I was in New York the first thing I wanted to do was to stop at Charlotte's flagship store on Mulberry st. where I promptly bought one of her beautiful floral tulip skirts. Lined with canary yellow, and with an exposed zip on the back, I still get a total buzz when I wear it.

Lee Alexander McQueen
It truly amazes me how some people seem to have a direct line to the source of their creativity, and a clear vision of the beauty they want to create, that in turn, inspires and influences the world around them.
McQueen was a visionary and will be missed.
May he rest in peace.

I think I'll Have a Stroke
When I grow up I'm going to marry Julian Casablancas,
Step off, this is my dream.
Tie Me Up
If I could I would wear a bow in my hair, like this, everyday.
I may have fallen back in love with Dior purely because of Tavi's hat.

So Thats How Terry Does It
Terry Richardson and Donald Cumming from Purple Magazine on Vimeo.
I love a little look behind the scenes of any creative process especially one of my favourite french magazines, how great is Olivier saying "Careful Donald!" I wonder how high up they were?

Not That I Play Favourites
But you know how I feel about photos of boys with guitars, or just boys with guitars in general, or at least you should
Happy Sunday
I was convinced I was going to spend today organising the books, magazines, and records, that have completely taken over my room, only to become slightly distracted by my mum's digital camera.
I think one of my strongest traits is that of procrastination, oh well, I'll file away old homework and notes later, right now I'm off to get a coffee
to ignite my concentration

Like a Canary if They Were Magic and Lived in Wonderland
Another designer from the London College of Fashion MA Show, I love how Sophie Condie has combined the blue and peach so effortlessly.
This is the kind of jacket I would wear while riding a vintage vespa, enormous vintage goggles included, can you imagine the way the feathers would ruffle in the breeze?

All the Better to Scare You With
After looking through some of the gorgeous collections from the London College of Fashion MA Show, my favourite piece by far is this over sized bag by Merve Tuna, clearly channeling the Big Bad Wolf.
