Of Cabbages and Kings
On my Birthday two of my friends, without consulting each other brought me a bouquet of these gorgeous things, that kind of remind me of cabbages,
I totally dig them, a little bit Tim Burton and a Little bit Lewis Carroll, what could be better than literary flowers?

Daisy tint your specks

My friends can attest that given the chance I would totally wear these sunglasses in public, and not only wear them but LOVE THEM. It worries me how many people I've encountered recently, who when asked if they "like that bowler hat", or if they like the idea I had to "shave half my head", say "No, Don't", without a second thought. What happened to, well firstly, a sense of humour and secondly, a sense of sartorial adventure, regardless of whether the end result is considered "hot" by a twelve year old who has been watching too many reality TV shows, or a forty something man sitting in a cubicle at his advertorial job. Hot Hot Heat
As I write this the fan I've propped up on a mountain of mismatched magazines on the coffee table is beginning to swing ominously from side to side, oh well at least its making it slightly cooler in here. Spring is quickly turning into summer and I'm beginning to realise that the apartment i moved into five months ago is really fucking hot.
As it gets warmer i find my eating habits slowly disintegrating into two categories, fresh fruit and iced coffee, mmm nutritious!
Above is a photo I took of the view outside my bedroom window just after the jacaranda finally flowered
I thought they were pretty glorious at the time but now all the sticky little flowers have embedded themselves in the roof of my car, really fun.
My fan is about to die and thus my blogging is over for the day!
