Theres nothing like black and white photography and this has a kind of retro feel and influence, like Francoise Hardy or Serge Gainsbourg might be just out of frame smoking a rollie and strumming a guitar.

That Thing You Do

While attending fashion School I have frequently been asked both to speak and write about my personal style, and although it changes from minute to minute, right now I cant go past this photo of Brigitte Bardot.

All messy chic in simple jeans and black top, its her attitude that really lights the picture. It may not be the most iconic image of her, but its one of my favorites.
