I can't wait to read Patti Smiths book 'Just Kids' I saw her in concert when I was living in Melbourne, and was completely blown away, and then she covered 'smells like teen spirit', and suddenly all the kids who were there with their parents and had no idea who they were listening to, gasped 'this is Nirvana!' proving that she was just as relevant today as when she first started.
I also love anyone who's attitude informs their style and her style is incredible
